November Preview/Scholarship Day

Take part in our September Preview & Scholarship Day and experience Judson for yourself!  Get a tour of campus, learn more about opportunities for financial aid, and experience the supportive atmosphere and legacy of sisterhood that have made Judson unique for more than 175 years.  Then, show us what sets you apart through academic testing, performing arts auditions, athletic tryouts, and one-on-one interactions with faculty members.

Judson Scholarship Exams
At Scholarship Day, high school seniors and college transfer students who have applied to Judson can take a general aptitude test to compete for institutional academic scholarships. Awards are based on performance on the scholarship exam, character references, high school transcripts, and standardized test scores. Judson Scholarship Awards may applied to any bachelor’s degree program at Judson.

Awards offered at the September Scholarship Day include:

  • One full-tuition scholarship
  • Five partial-tuition scholarships

Performing Arts Auditions
There will be time during Scholarship Day for you to audition for the following performing arts scholarships:

  • Piano
  • Organ
  • Voice
  • Theatre

Awards are based on the recommendation of the performing arts faculty after auditions. To find out what you need to prepare for an audition, contact theAdmissions Office or call (800) 447-9472.

Athletic Tryouts
Bring your athletic gear and try out for a spot on one of our athletic teams. Are you an in-season athlete? Don’t worry! There’ll be opportunities for you to try out later in the year. Contact the Admissions Office or your recruiter for details.

At Scholarship Day, high school seniors and college transfer students who have applied to Judson may take a general aptitude test to compete for full- or partial-tuition scholarships. No test-specific studying is necessary for the scholarship exam, which is roughly 45 minutes in length.
