Hey everyone! My name is Amber. This year I'll be bringing you to posts about academics here at Judson and a brand new section - Digital Judson!

I'm an animal loving, biology major from Tampa, Florida, who often runs around with her camera trying to be artistic. If you see someone crawling around in the bushes taking photos of random bugs and flowers, that's probably me.

Sometimes it's rough to explain only with words why I love it here. It's just easier to show it! So stick around and check out what I'm up to here at Ol' JC. I promise to post lots of pretty pictures!

This evening I was sprawled out in the grass with my camera at sunset, thoroughly enjoying my time, camera in hand and little flowers beginning to spring up everywhere.

Guess what guys!? It's starting to look like spring!

Saturday, Jasmine, Katlin, Amanda and I all took a trip to Greensborough for some delicious pie at The Pie Lab. I love the place so much. If you ever get a chance, you should definately stop by.

After that we explored the cemetery in Greensborough. It's gorgeous.

Birding Continued

We, and by we I mean my birding class, had our first outing yesterday morning. When eight-o-clock (the bright one) rolled around we headed out to watch some birdies, clutching our hot coffee and wrapped up in layers of clothing against the cold.

It was interesting for me to notice how much goes on that we never really pay any attention to. The entire campus and surrounding areas are teaming with activity - the daily life of little creatures.

This morning I decided to head out and take some quiet time, some time to enjoy the quiet and watch.

It also reminded me that I all to often forget to take some quiet time away from all of my responsibilities - time to be alone with God and his creation.

Hey, check it out! I think my bird photography is getting a little better!
