The fourth week of the spring semester is here and it sure doesn't feel so great. I would have never imagined that it would be so hard to re-adjust. The first few days I felt like someone just picked me up and threw me into this new mix of classes and new experiences. I didn't have my books yet, since I had decided to order them off Amazon for cheaper pricing. While I am talking about that I will say this rule: If you borrow someone's book because you don't have yours yet, make sure you return it in the exact condition that you first got it in. To not do so is one of the rudest things you could do. I did- I just figured I would say that. Another thing is this: Make sure you observe quiet hours. Some people (me in particular) are trying to go to bed at 10 o'clock and we don't appreciate running and yelling. So, be prepared, guys.
It's getting better everyday. It's just so strange that I would get home sick the second semester and not when I first leave. I'm sure it's because everyone at home is doing their thing and I'm not there to keep up with them. I mean church, actually - not gossip. Plus, I miss my family and spending time with them.
Oh, and one more piece of advice: Decide on your classes and be firm with them. It costs moo-la to drop or add one later on after the deadline to do so is over, but I'm sure you guys knew that.
I will look on the bright side. Getting up for an 8 a.m. class allows me to have a wonderful daylight schedule. I'm so ready for daylight savings time! Oh, and I officially have a big sister, Ryan Dowling and will get to start on more traditions.
God Bless!
