These past few weeks have been so hectic! Okay, flashback to February 9th...

My roommate had been sick for several days -the whole nine yards kind of sick. It finally got to the point when I had to call her parents for her and tell them how sick she really was. Her dad told me she was probably dehydrated and to please get her some Pedialyte.

    Keys.

    Start Engine.

    Get the goods.

    Get back!

For that night and into the next day I make sureshe drinks this liquid and sleeps. Here is some background information: she had had a kidney transplant a little over a year ago so everything she does and anything that happens to her needs to be considered carefully.

    February 10th

All right, she is still terribly ill and around noon I decide that she needs to go home.  After four hours, her father makes it here to get her and takes her home. Later that evening I get a text from her that she is being rushed to University Hospital in Birmingham. Her body might be rejecting her kidney.

Let me explain...  Earlier this same day I got news that one of my best friends back home fell asleep at the wheel when going home around 4 o'clock.  It was a horrific wreck!  I mean, they had to cut her out of the vehicle, her jacket and her boot in order to reach her crushed ankle.  God was watching over her and I thank Him that she is still alive today.  She was just over working herself with school and 40+ hours of work and other things happening in her life. She told me that she truly believes God was telling her to slow down by allowing this wreck to happen.  Guys, all things happen in the will of God.  Equally important is the fact that all things turn out for His glory. Always remember that! No matter what!

Nevertheless, this was one eventful and emotional day for me. I just felt so drained after all that, but my Judson sisters were there for me and are always so amazingly good to me. I love them so much!

I thank God for this experience. I have a better hold on Him and I was awakened to some things I had forgotten.  Plus, I am a lot closer to all my wonderful friends back home - just like old times! The Lord has a way of swinging things around and loving on you at the same time.
