I have an update on my roommate in case you guys were concerned. Her dad and brother are coming to get her things, but she is ever so much better. I thought I would make it easier on them and pack it tonight. No big deal? Guess again! I had to get some boxes from a neighbor. ha ha. It took 5 hours, but I did it! That way it won't be so difficult for her folks to pack it up.

While I was packing I came across 16 cents in her drawer and I thought to myself that I could either take this or wrap it up and put it in her suitcase. It is hers after all. Or finders keepers? This was an interesting predicament and even though I knew what I was going to do, I called one of my "church mommas" to seek her opinion on "what Jesus would do".

She said that if you even feel convicted about something you should listen to it.

    Check!

She said if the Lord can trust you to do the right thing with the small things, He can trust you the same with the big things.

    Yes!

What did Lindy do? Well, I took that 16 cents and put it in my piggy bank!!

    Just kidding!!

I took some tape and wrapped it up together and drew a smiley face on it.  Then, I placed it inside her suitcase fully satisfied with the fact that I glorified my Lord with something so small. These tests allow me to see a glimpse of what God is molding me into. I will never feel so full and complete.

I also believe that this situation drew me to call this Godly woman and have an uplifting (accountability) talk. I simply adore my church family.

Oh, and my friend who was in the car wreck is healing at a rapid pace. I am so thankful to my Lord for His discipline, yet His mercy and tender love. He will heal her to being as good as new. :)
