Hello everyone! I would like to welcome you to my blog and begin with a little something that will help you to know the person behind the text.
First off, my name is Lindy Cowart and I am from Brandon, Mississippi where I attended a small school in the town of Puckett. I have come to Judson College this year as a first-year student. I am so excited that I have been blessed with the opportunity to fulfill my dream of blogging for my freshman year. By doing so I will be letting you all in on what it's like to be and become a Judson girl.
I am a Criminal Justice major, however, I will more likely claim"undecided". It is frightening to know that others around me know what they wish to do while I do not. You will hear more of that subject on a future blog.
I am absolutely thrilled at all the opportunities that Judson offers me so that I may branch out and maybe even figure out that rascally major. I am taking riding along with my basic classes, which is a long shot for me, having not been on a horse in over ten years, but I am positive that I will get the hang of it. Eventually!
Foremost, this is a Christian college, which establishes a strong faith-based environment to learn in and to aid in furthering my walk with the Lord. All through my application process I was constantly questioned of my coming here to a women's college, out-of-state and still in the South. My answer? Prayer is a powerful, intimate thing between you and God. I prayed my heart out knowing that He would guide me to the correct college for me. He did just that. My Lord led me here and it is here in Marion, Alabama that I will serve and follow the mysterious path He has laid out for me.
