The CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) is the nation's accrediting body for social work education that has been working with Judson College's BSW program in its accreditation process.
ACCREDITATION NOTICE Social Work major: This program is currently undergoing the accreditation process, as it was added as a major offering at Judson in Fall 2010. The program was accepted into candidacy for accreditation in the Fall of 2009 and received high marks from the CSWE (the accrediting body) commissioner during the first two of four CSWE visits. The next (third) CSWE visit will take place in October 2012. Work is still being done to complete Judson's new Social Work Handbook and to develop the course curriculum.
