                       B.S., History and Business - Troy State University, 1968

                       Master's in Adult Education - Troy State University of Montgomery, 1986

COACH AT A GLANCE

A die-hard athlete all of his life, Coach Lee Jones lettered in baseball, football and basketball throughout high school and played college baseball for four years. Coach Jones has led the Lady Eagles at Judson College for the past nine years now, accompanying them to numerous USCAA National Tournaments - one of which, the Lady Eagles softball team placed fourth at in 2008 and second at in 2007.

Coach Jones has 40 years of coaching experience under his belt and began laying the foundation for success as a coach at such places as Dixie Academy in Louisville, Ala., Marion Military Institute and Wallace Community College of Selma, to name a few.

Coach Jones' goal for the 2010-2011 season is to "win the USCAA National Tournament but, most of all, to teach each young lady that comes through his athletic department how to live a productive Christian life."

In a player, Coach Jones searches for one with a good attitude who is a good student and an overall great athlete.

Coach Jones makes his home in Selma and is a faithful member of Safford Baptist Church.  He is married to Kay Jones and they share five children together and five grandchildren.
