Security Officers & Security Access

A staff of uniformed security guards are employed and available at all times of the day and night on the campus. Likewise, three main gates to the campus are locked after 5 p.m. each day to insure that all nightly visitors must first pass in front of the guard house before entering campus. Dormitories are locked 24-hours a day by an ITI Access System and are only accessible to traditional students who hold security access cards.

Security Access Cards

All traditional Judson students are provided with security access cards at the time of their enrollment. These access cards provide students with access to each dormitory on the Judson College campus, as well as, other academic buildings closed to the public after regular office hours.

Regular office hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  After 11 p.m. each night, security personnel permanently lock all campus facilities.

Student ID Cards

All students are given a Student ID Card upon enrolling at Judson. These cards provide a photo ID of the student - and various other information - making it easy for security personnel to tell the difference between an actual student and a guest or stranger on the college campus.

Parking Decals

If a student plans to have a vehicle that needs to be parked on campus, she will be issued a current parking decal that should be viewable at all times on her vehicle's front windshield. Failure to display a parking decal while the vehicle is on campus could result in a fine from security personnel.

Lost or Stolen Access Cards & Student IDs

Lost or Stolen Access Cards and Student IDs should be immediately reported to the Office of Student Life at 334.683.5108. A student's access and ID can be replaced for a fee.

Access Cards should never purposefully be left out of doors (i.e. under door mats, on windowsills). First offense of this is a $100 fine.

See the STUDENT HANDBOOK for more guidelines.
