As we go through life we influence and are influenced. Emmie Frances Wolfer had a variety of friends and interests. Her paths crossed with many people who infuenced and inspired her to write her life story.

Believing that one can better one's self by securing an education, her association with over two hundred young women she assisted at Judson College, "Her Wolfer Girls," were her first love. To see them go on in their careers and influence others brought her great joy.
