Laura Vernon King (1991) has recently been selected for a two year tour as the Engineer Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter HEALY, an ice breaking science vessel homeported in Seattle, WA. Her husband, David, and their two girls (Britney & Sarah) are staying in Portsmouth, VA and will visit her in Seattle. Dawn Finch Cornelius (1994) married Joseph Cornelius on February 27, 2010. (6-10)

Wendy Perry Lane (1994) finished her Masters Degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Tennessee, May 2010. Wendy and her husband, Kirdy, live in Spring Hill, TN, and have been married 14 years. They have two children, Kevin (10) and Cady (8), and own a preschool, Discovery Lane Day School, which has been open for three years. (5-10)

Dorothy Purser Kramer (1996) Dorothy and Jonathan welcomed the arrival of their first child, Heath MacDonald (Mac) on March 23, 2010. Mac is wonderful and a welcome addition to the family! (8-10)

Leslie Stockman Cowart (1997) and her husband, Jon, are pleased to announce the birth of their twin boys, Josiah Walker and Jackson Carlile. The boys were born on April 30, and weighed 3 lbs., 1 oz. and 2 lbs., 14 ozs., respectively. After spending six weeks in the hospital's NICU, Josiah and Jackson finally joined their older siblings, Angelina Marie (5 years), Victoria Rhiannon (3 years), and Jonathan Lennon (18 months) at home on June 11th. Leslie continues to teach in the Mobile County Public School System. She teaches fourth grade Reading and Alabama History at Calcedeaver Elementary School. (7-10)

Jill Shoemaker Johnson (1998) and her husband, Chris, announce the birth of Michael Stephen. Micah was born March 30th weighing 8 lbs., 10 oz. and was welcomed by big brother, William Warren (5 yrs.) and big sister, Kristen Suvannah (3 yrs.). (8-10)

Julie Jackson Short (1999) is excited to announce that she married Chris Short on June 19th in Gatlinburg, TN. (7-10)

Jennifer Templeton Snell (1999) is now living in Birmingham, working for EyeCare Associates Greystone and loving life!! (8-10)
