Get Involved!

Are you tired of being an alumnae who wishes she could do something for her Alma Mater? Why not get involved? You could volunteer your talents in a number of ways. God has given each of us special abilities: When you are trying to decide how to put them to use for his glory, don't forget about Judson!

Become an Alumnae Ambassador in your area...

The Alumnae Admissions Committee is initiating an Alumnae Ambassadors Program and is currently recruiting alumnae to participate. Alumnae Ambassadors would serve in their local schools, churches, and community to promote Judson to prospective students.

Duties of Alumnae Ambassadors may include the following:

Deliver brochures to counselors in local schools and/or youth ministers in area churches

Write letters to prospective students

Assist Judson College recruiters when in their vicinity

Provide support for first year students (cards, etc.)

Present to youth groups in local churches

Bring prospective students to campus

Join the Ivy Notes Team...

The Ivy Note committee coordinates alumnae efforts to connect with current Judson students by continuing the tradition of sending personal notes to new students at Rose Sunday and exploring additional opportunities for alumnae–student interaction throughout the year. Be part of the legacy and join the Ivy Notes team. Students really treasure a hand-written note. Contact Kim Frank, Ivy Notes Chair at kimberfrank@bellsouth.net about how to get involved in this project.

Contribute to the Journeying Together Through Prayer Project...

This committee coordinates the development of the Journeying Together Through Prayer journal, a prayer diary for Judson written by alumnae, focusing on the needs of all college constituents including students, staff and faculty. Over thirty alumnae contributed to the 2013 Prayer Journal. (Download the 2013 Prayer Journal HERE.) Contact Mandy McMichael, Committee Chair, at mm56@duke.edu if you are interested in contributing to the 2014 journal.
