Volunteer Your Talents Are you tired of being an alumnae who wishes she could do something for her Alma Mater? Why not get involved? You could volunteer your talents in a number of ways. Do you want to get involved more actively in Chapter events, or are you the one in your class everyone calls to get everyone else's address? Do you know any prospective students in your area? Want to help current Judson students? God has given each of us special abilities: When you are trying to decide how to put them to use for his glory, don't forget about Judson! For more information, call the Alumnae Office at (334) 683-5167 Judson Career Advisory Network The Career Advisory Network is a great way for students to get in touch with Judson Alumnae who can help them get information about career choices. Many students are unsure how to approach their first job search and need some advice on how to get started. "Where should I look?" "How do I discover job openings?" "What questions should I ask?" As a working alumna, you may have some success stories about entering the job market in a particular field. This is your chance to pass on all the valuable information you have accumulated. The intent of the Career Advisory Network is not to get a job for students but to provide some helpful, friendly contacts who are willing to share information, ideas, and guidance. This is not a job placement service. Students may contact you by phone or mail, at your office or home, whichever you desire. Generally, we try to match a student with an alumna who graduated in her major or lives in a city or state to which the student may wish to move. Should you decide at any time that you no longer want to participate in the network, just call the Career Center and we will remove your name from the list. The Admissions Office is calling all alumnae and friends to identify outstanding young women who would benefit from Judson College. Please be alert to newspaper articles, church newsletters, school publications, radio and television spots, or tips through the grapevine for information about outstanding high school women in your area. Notify the admissions office by mail or phone and the student will receive a congratulatory letter from Judson. Your word of encouragement could be the "ticket" that begins an incredible journey for some young woman.
