1/16/2008 - Free tourism, travel seminar to be held in Marion
The Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel will present informational seminars across the state during January and February. An ABTT Regional Director will provide updated information on the"2008 - The Year of Alabama Sports" and "2009 - The Year of Alabama History" marketing campaigns. Also to be given out will be information on ABTT’s group tour leads e-mail program and ABTT’s grant program. These 2-hour seminars are designed to give persons from attractions, chambers, convention and visitors bureaus, regional tourism groups and accommodations and interested parties a chance to interface with an Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel staff member and to learn how to get involved in tourism. There will be time for questions and answers during the seminar. ABTT will explain available services and provide information on all aspects of tourism.
