2/29/2008 - Music fraternity to present Broadway gala

The Judson College chapter of the Delta Omicron International music fraternity will present a scholarship benefit program on Feb. 29.

The program will feature Judson and MMI students, faculty and townspeople in song, dance and instrumental excerpts from familiar Broadway and "show-biz" shows including" The Little Mermaid," "Music Man," "The Sound of Music," "Phantom of the Opera," "South Pacific," Jekyll and Hyde," "Wicked," Jersey Boys," "Hairspray," "Porgy and Bess," "The King and I" and "Nunsense."

The program will be under the direction of Dr. Betty Campbell and will begin at 7 p.m. in the Alumnae Auditorium on the Judson campus.

Tickets may be purchased at the door.  Cost is $1 for students and $2 for others.
