8/19/2008 - Marion Veterinarian to teach at Judson

Jowers, student writer Dr. Doug Halbrooks of the Marion Veterinary Clinic will join the Judson College equine science department on Aug. 25 to assist in teaching the equine nutrition course. Halbrooks will team-teach the course with equine director, Jennifer Hoggle, on Monday evenings. According to Hoggle, Halbrooks' expertise will provide additional opportunities for students enrolled in the equine courses including learning from actual case studies and hands-on experiences. Halbrooks is a 1981 graduate of Auburn University and has worked in Marion since 1983. He currently serves on the Judson board of trustees.
