8/23/2008 - Washburn to be presented in piano concert The congregation of Hopewell Baptist Church in Marion will present Leah Washburn in concert at 6 p.m. on Sept. 13 on the church's newly-acquired Yamaha grand piano. Washburn has been pianist at Hopewell for 10 years, where her husband, George, serves as music minister. She also works at Judson College as office manager in the Office of Admissions. "I plan to include a variety of music and do some vocals," Leah Washburn said. "I also plan to call on some special friends to help me during the concert."
