4/19/2009 - Encore performance of "JimmyLee!" to take place
Judson College artist-in-residence, Dr. Billie Jean Young, will direct an encore performance of "JimmyLee!" on April 19.
The play chronicles the life of Jimmie Lee Jackson, an early martyr in the Marion and Selma civil rights movement of 1965. The performance will be at 5 p.m. at Francis Marion High School in Marion as part of the annual memorial for the late Albert Turner Sr. There is no admission charge and the public is welcomed. |
