4/18/2009 - A Sea of Cyclists - Howard 100 Bike Ride 
Photo cut line: More than 200 cyclists from several states participated in the fifth annual "Old Howard 100" bike ride in Perry County on Saturday. Participants chose routes of 30, 45, 75 or 100 miles. The ride highlights the historical ties between the Alabama Baptist Convention, founded in Greensboro in 1823; Howard College (now Samford University), founded in Marion in 1841 and Judson College, founded in 1838. Judson College hosted the event. All monies raised from registrations is given to Perry County's "Sowing Seeds of Hope" interfaith initiative.
