2/1/2010 - JC and MMI to present musicale, TIME CHANGE
The Judson College Delta Psi Chapter of Delta Omicron, International Music Fraternity, will present a musicale featuring Judson students and Marion Military Institute cadets on Feb. 4. The concert will feature Beverly Cox of Athens on clarinet, accompanied by Mrs. Leah Washburn; Brittany Hall of Dadeville, vocalist; Sarah Jean Watters of Sprott and Laura Noble of Huntsville, vocal duets from the opera, "Hansel and Gretel"; Miriam Hart of Tallassee, vocalist; Deanna Waltman of Mobile, vocalist; Holly Johnston of Laceys Spring, vocalist and Dr. Betty Campbell, accompanist. MMI performers include Stuart Eichenberger of Knobs, Ind., violinist; Meredith Herndon of Sunderland, Md., pianist and organist; Andrew Turscak of Hudson, Ohio, pianist; Quade Sherwood and Bryce Daniels of Paris, Texas, trumpet and Shawn Parks of Montgomery, vocal baritone. Col. Deborah Street of MMI and Dr. Betty Campbell of Judson will direct. The event is at 7:30 p.m. in Alumnae Auditorium at Judson College. There is no admission charge and the public is invited.
