2/19/2010 - Black History Month special program
The "Chosen Vessels" dance group of Atlanta will be in concert at Judson College on Feb.19. Vanessa Manley, artistic director of the group, is the featured performer and will be joined by drama students from Francis Marion High School in Marion and R.C. Hatch High School in Uniontown. "Chosen Vessels" is an ensemble ministry dedicated to exploring the use of cultural expression as a catalyst for social change and spiritual growth. Manley is a long-time advocate of the arts and has served in the field for more than 15 years. The group's website is chosenvesselsdance.webs.com. The concert will be in Alumnae Auditorium at 6 p.m. There is no admission charge and the public is welcomed.
