9/7/2010 - Marion Ministers lead Chapel

Photo cut line: Marion's downtown church pastors participated in chapel at Judson College on Sept. 7. According to Chapel Committee chair Michael Brooks, this was the 10^th year the committee has invited the local pastors to participate in chapel and meet new students.

"There are many fine churches in Perry County," Brooks said, "but these are the churches within the shadow of the college and within walking distance for our students."

Dr. Larry Teasley of Marion United Methodist Church delivered the sermon entitled, "The Light of the World." The chapel also featured a patriotic segment commemorating the upcoming anniversary of 9/11.
