10/5/2010 - Noted pianist Donald Garcia to perform In celebration of the 200th year of pianist and composer Robert Schumann, the Judson College Delta Psi Chapter of Delta Omicron, International Music Fraternity, will present Argentinean pianist, Donald Garcia, in a performance of Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, opus 54, on Oct. 5. Mr. Garcia will be performing on Judson College's Hamburg Steinway piano. Garcia is a former colleague and personal friend of Judson music professor Dr. Betty Campbell. Dr. Judy Ransom, chairman of the Department of Fine Arts at the college, will perform the orchestra part at a second piano. The mini-concert will begin at 7 p.m. in Alumnae Auditorium.
