10/22/2010 - First Annual Student Art Exhibition
The First Annual Student Art Exhibition, featuring work by the current body of Judson students, will be on display at the Marian Acree Tucker Gallery at Judson College. The show opens October 27 and continues through November 29, 2010. There will be an artist's reception on Wednesday, October 27, from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm in the gallery, and many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work. Featuring work from the new graphic design concentration, as well as paintings, drawings, prints, sequential art, the exhibition upholds the high standards set annually by Judson students. The exhibition was selected from works by current art majors, minors and art club members and features work by Cat Popp, Dakota Callicott, Corey Finlay, Heaven Thomas, Christy Bain, Kaylee Crenshaw, Jenny Newcomb, Courtney Hatcher, Jana Propst, Katlin Bailey, Haley Hester, Ashleigh Hagan, Amanda Nolander, and others.
