1/19/2011 - Alabama Horse Fair coming to Montgomery By Jennifer Hoggle The Alabama Horse Council will sponsor its Annual Horse Fair Jan. 22-23 at the Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery. The fair will feature Craig Cameron, the 2010 "Road to the Horse" winner; Jason Wilds who is a certified John and Josh Lyons trainer; Rider Kiesner, a two-time world champion trick roper; the Bama Bandits; Drill Team; stick horse race; clinics; lectures; silent auction; "Ask the Vet"; "Ask the Ferrier" and vendors of all things horse-related. This is the biggest equine trade show in Alabama, plus a great way to kick off the new year with good, indoor family entertainment. Gates open at 8 a.m. both days.
