4/13/2011 - Equine students complete phase one equine therapy certification

Five Judson College students completed application and testing requirements for phase one instructor certification candidacy through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. They include Heather Hodge of Thomasville, Laura Hyer of Marion Junction, Sara E. Jones of Chickamauga, Ga., Rebekah Lowrey of Saraland and Jennifer Neal of Pelahatchie, Miss.

The students have been enrolled in a two semester program learning about therapeutic riding and have completed some of the required mentoring hours at the Montgomery Area Non-traditional Equestrians facility.

Both Rebekah Lowrey and Jennifer Neal will be testing for their phase one instructor status this week.
