5/27/2011 - Local students honored Local students honored
A number of local students were honored at Judson College's recent Honors Convocation. Laura Lee Logan of Benton was named a President's Scholar, to the Spring dean's list, Who's Who, Kappa Delta Epsilon Education Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society and received the Secondary Education Award. Jana Davenport of Jemison was named to the Freshmen with Highest Academic Averages. Christine Baker of Cottondale was named to the Spring dean's list. Kasey Barton of Marion was named to the Spring dean's list and the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society. Haley Gates of Carrollton was named to the Spring dean's list and the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society. Laura Hyer of Marion Junction was named to the Spring dean's list, Who's Who, Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society and the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. Margaret Ingram of Selma was named to the Spring dean's list. Allison Moore of Selma was named to the Spring dean's list. Sylvia Pitts of Valley Grande received the Equine Award. Meredith Pierce of Cottondale received the Delta Omicron Music Fraternity Non-Member Medallion for Service. Sarah Fowler of Marion was named to Who's Who, the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society and the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. Elizabeth Hinton of Greensboro was named to Who's Who.
