9/20/2012 - Judson College Names New Equestrian Teams
The Judson College Equestrian Team has announced team members for the 2012-2013 show season.
Hunt seat team members returning from last season include Olivia Breimhorst of Gardendale, Christina Duke of Vestavia, Madelyn King of Collierville, Tenn. and Faith Williams of Crossville. New members are Veronica Primavera of Deatsville and Kayla Syck of Tallassee.
Western team members returning from last season are Lindy Cowart of Brandon, Miss., Shelby Crews of Greenville, Jana Davenport of Jemison, Christina Duke of Vestavia and Rylee Parnell of Tibbie. New members are Kayla Brasher of Jemison, Brianne Culp of Brunswick, Ohio, Bri Hunter of Somerville and Mary Kilpatrick of Dothan.
The Judson teams hold membership in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, Zone 5, Region 2 and will be competing with Berry College, Emory University, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, North Georgia, Mississippi College, Mississippi State, University of Alabama, University of Georgia and the University of West Georgia.
According to team coach Jennifer Hoggle, the team is very excited and looking forward to the debut performance at Judson's Scholarship Day on Sept. 22.
Additionally, shows will begin on Sept. 29 at Epiphany Farms in Dahlonega, Ga. with two Western shows hosted by North Georgia State College and University. |
