2/14/2013 - Equine Drill Team to Perform at Judson College
Judson College's spring scholarship day on Feb. 16 will feature presentations by members of the mounted drill teams from The River Run Farms in Leeds, Ala.
The River Run teams normally compete 3-4 times per year and also perform exhibitions for various events. The team's moves are coordinated to music, with all riders keeping their horses in the same gait during specific moves. The two River Run teams, the Rapids and the Rockets, are coached by Lindy Minton Fuller. Presentations will be at 8:45 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. in the college's riding arena. The public is welcomed. |
