Annual Minister’s Golf Tournament to be held at Judson College
Judson College will sponsor its 54th annual Ministers’ Golf Tournament May 9-10. The tournament will be played at the nearby Marion Military Institute golf course. The event is open to all ministers serving Alabama Baptist Convention churches or agencies, including pastors, ministers of youth, music, and education.
“We welcome ministers from across the state and look forward to enjoying good fellowship, the tournament, and moments to share news about Judson College,” said college president David Potts.
Last year’s winner was Shannon Allen of Ashby Baptist Church in Brierfield, Ala.
In addition to prizes offered by local businesses, there will be special hole-in-one prizes, including $10,000 cash and a $500 VISA gift card. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place winners in each flight, as well as a prize to the senior champion. Additionally, each tournament participant will receive a coupon for a free golf club.
The registration fee of $90 includes meals, lodging, linens, green fees, and carts. A $10 discount will be given to previous participants who refer a player who did not attend the 2015 tournament, but who will attend this year’s tournament.
Tournament spots are available for the first 72 players. To register for the event, please contact Kristin Storment in the Judson Advancement Office at 334.683.5109 or by email at email@example.com.
