Due to the threat of possible inclement weather tomorrow, Dec. 8, the academic calendar will undergo a slight modification.
Friday, Dec., will now be Reading Day. Classes that would normally have taken place Dec. 8 will now be held Monday, Dec. 11.
The final exam schedule will remain the same.
Both the library and the dining hall will remain open for regular Friday hours.
Residential students, if you are planning to leave campus for the weekend, please do so as soon as possible this afternoon (Dec. 7). Snow is possible Friday morning, and ice is possible on both Saturday and Sunday morning. It appears that it should be safe to return to campus on either Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon, but we advise against traveling early in the morning or after dark. As always, please be aware of weather conditions in your area and do not travel if it is unsafe for you to do so.
Staff members, please check with your supervisors about whether or not there will be any modifications to your work schedule tomorrow.
The Faculty/Staff Christmas Dinner will be held this evening as planned.
