Judson campus affected by flash flooding 5/30

The Judson College campus was closed May 30 due to power outages and flash flooding from the weather system that moved through the area Wednesday morning. Flash flooding affected several areas of campus, including Jewett Hall, the Piper Equine Center, and the Charles F. Dunkin Athletic Park.

No injuries were reported, and the College’s maintenance and housekeeping staff–as well as a few faculty and administrative staff members–responded quickly to ensure that damage to the affected areas was as minimal as possible.

Judson IT staff are working diligently to bring campus technology services back online, so the College expects to resume classes, and re-open administrative offices, tomorrow, May 31st.

Judson is grateful for the good work of her people and the prayers of her friends. Further updates will be posted on the website as they become available.
