Judson to host annual Christmas Tea and Vespers service Dec. 3
The administration, faculty, and students of Judson College invite the community to campus to attend the College’s annual Christmas Tea and Vespers service to be held on campus December 3.
Christmas Tea, Judson College’s annual semi-formal “open house” Christmas event, will be hosted by the Judson College Social Committee in the Gladys H. Dunkin Parlors of Jewett Hall from 3:00pm until 4:30pm.
The Vespers program, presented by the Judson College Department of Music, will begin at 6:00pm in Alumnae Auditorium.
Judson guests and the public are cordially invited to both events.
The Judson Singers, FAITH Ensemble, and special guests will present “For unto Us a Child is Born: A Christmas Vespers Service”, directed by Dr. Camilla J. Horne, Assistant Professor of Music. University of Alabama music majors Nick Tyler and Kyle Fuller will join as trumpeters.
The program, which celebrates the joy and wonder of Advent, is comprised of a varied repertoire of sacred songs, scriptural and responsive readings, and congregational hymns.
