Judson College hosts Junior Preview Day

High school juniors and their families visited Judson’s campus in Marion, Ala., on May 9 for Junior Preview Day.

Students hailing from Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, and Washington met Judson faculty, staff, and current students and attended breakout sessions on academic programs, student activities, and the college admissions process. Guided by Judson Student Ambassadors, guests enjoyed a campus tour, which included academic facilities, residence halls, and the on-campus Equine Center.

In his welcome session remarks, Dr. David E. Potts, Judson College President, touted the Judson experience as a uniquely transformative one. He highlighted the vision of the College’s founders: that Judson would be a place “of Christ” that uniquely prepared students academically and spiritually to make a difference in their communities and the world.

Breanna Weaver, a visiting junior from Maplesville, Ala., understood: “Through [my] Judson College experience, I know that I will gain the tools necessary to be a leader to the lost, to grow into a spokesperson for those too pained to speak.”
