The Judson Singers will participate in the 2016 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Collegiate Choral Festival on November 3rd at Southside Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. Performing under the direction of Dr. Camilla Horne, Assistant Professor of Music, and accompanied by Dr. Cindy St. Clair, Music Department Head, the Singers will perform at 9:20am Friday morning.
The Collegiate Choral Festival is an annual, non-competitive choral festival endorsed by the Alabama American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). Choirs representing two-and four-year colleges from across the state gather to perform concert literature for each other and enjoy opportunities to work with nationally recognized guest clinicians. In addition to Judson College, there are thirteen other college choral ensembles participating in this year’s festival, including: University of Alabama at Birmingham, Wallace State Community College, University of Alabama, University of North Alabama, University of Montevallo, Alabama State University, Jefferson State Community College, Lawson State Community College, Shelton State Community College, Snead State Community College, Auburn University, Faulkner University, and Oakwood University.
