Judson to host Guidance Counselor Conference Feb. 25

Judson College will welcome education professionals from across the state to its campus in Marion, Ala., for its sixth annual Guidance Counselor Conference on February 25.

Hosted by Judson College alumnae and Admissions staff, the conference is designed to provide counselors with opportunities to interact with other counselors and leaders in varying professional and educational fields.  Welcome session leader Dr. Ed Nichols, Superintendent of the Decatur City School System, will discuss “Keeping your Heart in your Job”, and Dr. Tommy Bice, Alabama State Superintendent of Education, will keynote the lunch session. Breakout sessions will address topics such as Talladega County Schools success, sexting and other media issues, retirement, and helping students prepare for college.
