Judson to host Preview & Scholarship Day Sept.19

Judson College will host its first fall Preview & Scholarship Day on September 19. Prospective Judson students and their parents are invited to visit the Judson campus, explore the college’s academic programs, meet current students and faculty, and learn more about admissions and financial aid.

The September Preview & Scholarship Day will begin with check-in and an 8:00a.m. Student Activities session, when campus organizations display opportunities for each student to find her place in the Judson community. Prospective students may spend the night in a residence hall (optional), meet faculty and staff in breakout sessions, enjoy lunch in the college dining hall, and participate in campus tours guided by Judson Student Ambassadors. For students interested in learning more about Judson’s Equine Science program or joining the IHSA equestrian team, an opportunity will be available to visit the on-campus equine center and see an equestrian demonstration.

High school seniors and college transfer students who have applied to Judson may take a general aptitude test to compete for one full- and five partial-tuition institutional scholarships.  Additionally, Judson’s Fine and Performing Arts division will host music and theatre auditions. Performing arts scholarships are available in piano, organ, voice, and theatre.

Student-athletes may try out for Judson’s NCCAA intercollegiate basketball, softball, or tennis teams on Athletic Tryout Day on the Friday before Preview Day (September 18).
