The Music Department of Judson College has announced its upcoming Spring Concert and Spring Tour. Under the direction of Dr. Chris Brown, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Ensembles, the Judson Singers and FAITH Ensemble will give a Spring Choral Concert Tuesday, April 17 at 7:00p.m. in Alumnae Auditorium on the Judson College campus in Marion. The free concert is open to the public and will feature choral works by Mendelssohn, Stroupe, Hogan, Billings, and Rutter, as well as several contemporary choral arrangements.
The choir’s Spring Tour will begin April 27 and will visit the following venues:
- Saturday Evening, April 28th – National Anthem performance at the Birmingham Barons game
- Sunday Morning Service, April 29th, 10:00am at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church
- Sunday Evening Service, April 29th, 6:00pm at Northside Baptist Church, Jasper AL
- Monday Evening Concert, April 30th, 7:00pm, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Hueytown, AL
The Judson Singers and FAITH will also perform at five high schools in the Birmingham/Hoover area.
