There is no separate application for financial aid at Judson! We combine federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships based on your test scores, financial needs, and unique talents. Simply complete our free online application for admission to Judson, and we’ll start customizing your financial aid package from there!
Federal Aid
You must complete the FAFSA to determine if you are eligible for Federal Aid. (That includes work-study jobs on campus, so it’s best to complete that so we’ll be able to process your award letter quickly and accurately.) File the federal application online at fafsa.gov for faster processing. Judson’s school code is 001023.
Institutional Aid
Judson’s financial aid application for institutional aid is part of your application for admission. Once you apply for admission, you’re automatically considered for institutional aid. You will receive a letter from our Financial Aid Office stating the amount of your award.
Loans
If you need help selecting a private loan after your financial aid package has been awarded, visit Judson’s FastChoice portal. There you’ll find reputable lender lists and information that can help you choose the best loan for you–and support you through the life of your loan.
Other Aid
If you are an Alabama resident, we encourage you to apply for the Alabama Student Grant.
If you are a member of a church that belongs to the Alabama Baptist Convention, you may also apply for the A. Earl Potts Scholarship through your home church.

We may offer an eligible student an award package that includes more than one type of financial assistance; however, a student’s total Judson-funded or controlled financial assistance may not exceed the cost of her education. Judson reserves the right to adjust a student’s financial aid award.
