Head Basketball Coach
Coach Bridget Goodnight enters her first season as the Head Basketball Coach at Judson College. She brings with her over twenty years of coaching experience at the junior high, high school, NJCAA, NCAA II, and NCAA I levels. During these years, Goodnight has been a part of programs that have experienced conference championships and a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA II National Tournament. Under Goodnight’s leadership, programs have seen an increase in retention, graduation rates, and overall team G.P.A. She has recruited top student-athletes from around the country that have been recognized as both All-Conference players and All-Academic recipients. During her time in the NJCAA, Goodnight was instrumental in helping student-athletes complete their degrees and continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year colleges and universities. In addition to athletic and academic achievements, Goodnight’s teams have been active participants in various community service projects, as well as being supportive within their own college community.
Goodnight began her college basketball career at Northwest Mississippi Community College and completed her career at Blue Mountain College. During her time at Blue Mountain College, Goodnight was a scholar-athlete and was recognized nationally as being ranked third in three-point shooting percentage and first in free-throw shooting percentage in the NAIA.
The Batesville, MS native holds an A.A. degree from Northwest Mississippi Community College, a B.S. degree from Blue Mountain College, and a M.Ed. degree from Delta State University.
