COVID Update from Dr. Tew

Dear Judson Community,

Your College has continued to review the situation related to best health practices during a time of heightened public awareness regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.  Following Spring Break and through the end of the semester, the College will continue classes as normal, with the addition of increased campus hygiene procedures to reduce the potential for the spread of airborne disease. However, the promotion of unnecessary travel and the introduction of a large number of other guests to the College and Perry County communities are not deemed appropriate at this time.

Accordingly, 2020 J-Day events (April 3-4) will be cancelled this year. The honorees and class reunions for 2020 will be celebrated with the honorees and reunions during J-Day 2021 (April 9-10, 2021). All registration fees received for the 2020 J-Day events will be applied to the 2021 J-Day Weekend or refunded to individuals as requested. Contact the Judson College Alumnae Office at 334-683-5109 for details or to request a refund.

The Judson College Alumnae Association Executive Board Spring Meeting will be rescheduled for later in the spring semester.

The Presidential Inauguration scheduled for April 3rd will be postponed until the fall semester; the new date will be announced at a later time.

Thank you for your understanding, and know that your College is seeking to act in the most responsible manner to assist the greatest good possible.  Please continue to pray for the medical professionals addressing the outbreak of this disease, the governmental officials seeking to serve its various populations, and the individuals directly affected by the current situation.
