Judson Athletics recognizes team award recipients

Each spring, Judson College Athletics hosts a banquet for the College’s student-athletes to close the school year and reflect on their accomplishments. This year, the Spring Athletic Banquet was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but team awards will still be given. All-Academic honors were highlighted last month, and, beginning this week, the Judson College Athletics Facebook page will highlight the following winners of team awards.

Basketball

  • 110% Award: Annie Sparks – Tuscumbia, Ala.
  • Judson Award: Sha’Kea Mitchell – Maplesville, Ala.
  • Team MVP, Academic Award: Libby Whitten – Fyffe, Ala.

Soccer

  • Offensive MVP: Payton Luker – Warrior, Ala.
  • Defensive MVP: Shelby Harris – Oneonta, Ala.
  • Academic MVP: Brianna Arriaga – Huntsville, Ala.
  • Overall MVP: Whitney Batt – Madison, Ala.
  • Goal of the Year: Camry Sturdivant – Columbus, Miss.

Softball

  • 110% Award: Kaley Patteson – Mobile, Ala.
  • Offensive MVP, Team MVP: Taylor Hutto – Alexander City, Ala.
  • Defensive MVP: Erin Harrison – McCalla, Ala.
  • Judson Award: Katie Glover – Cullman, Ala.
  • Academic Award: Jessica Knowles –  Perry, Fla.

Volleyball
