Judson College employees recognized for service
The Judson College community recognized fourteen employees celebrating work anniversaries during the college’s annual employee recognition service October 27, 2020.
President Dr. W. Mark Tew presided and presented gifts of appreciation to the honorees for their 230 cumulative years of service to the College.
“Judson is a wonderful place to work, filled with wonderful people who are engaged in doing things a little differently–to accomplish a unique mission,” said Tew. “We are so appreciative of how these men and women have worked on behalf of Christian higher education to provide an extraordinary opportunity for the young women who are here.”
To standing applause, Hosea Rutledge of the Maintenance & Grounds Crew and Alleana Smith of the Housekeeping Staff were each honored for 40 years of service to Judson.
Ray Price, Department Head of Mathematics, was recognized for 35 years of service to Judson. Price also serves as Division Chair of the Sciences.
Anthony Miree, Security staff member, and Leah Washburn, Assistant Director of Distance Learning, were each honored for 25 years of service.
Ten-year honorees included Leigh Ann Brewer, Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid; Angela Dennison, Assistant Professor of Social Work; Stacey Parham, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Beth Poole, Director of Donor Relations.
Employees recognized for five years of service included: Katlin Bailey, Creative Services Specialist; Pam Boliew, Assistant Professor of Equine Science; Larissa Clachar, Assistant Professor of Spanish; Laura Crawford, Assistant Professor of English; and Bridget Horton, Assistant Director of Financial Aid.
