Game Highlights
Coach Cynthia White
After coming off a tough first-game loss to Mississippi University for Women in Columbus over the weekend, the team was ready to play Thursday. Though we had a slow start and were down 2 sets to 0, the Eagles didn’t quit, and I could see their trust and communication improve over the course of the night. We had big contributions from our seniors: Joyce Lavata’I had 6 kills, 13 assists and 7 digs, and, Kelsey O’Neal had 27 digs. Other contributors were sophomore Anna Johnson with 7 kills, sophomore Jessica Knowles and freshman Payton Tucker, each with 5. I couldn’t have asked for a better effort from my team. I’m so proud of them!

Kelsey O’Neal, senior libero
”I am super proud of our team. We didn’t get the win easily. We stuck by each other, dug deep, and played really hard. A win that you fight for is just a different kind of feeling. I’m so thankful for each person on my team and the effort they put in to finish the game. All the glory goes to God.”
