The Judson College Board of Trustees convened today, Dec. 31, 2020, and approved moving forward with a residential spring semester for all returning students.
After the December 15th announcement that Judson would need $500,000 in unrestricted cash donations and $1 million in unrestricted commitments of gifts between January 1 and May 31, 2021, the Judson community, alumnae, and friends mobilized quickly to secure the needed funds.
The Judson community surpassed the $500,000 cash goal Dec. 28. To date, the combined giving and commitment total is: $1,380,546.04
Due to the potential surge of coronavirus cases after the New Year, the start date of the spring semester will be moved to January 20, 2021.
The College is planning a fall session, and trustees will continue to review the College’s financial position in the coming months.
Judson is grateful for God’s great provision through the generosity of our alumnae and supporters, who have sacrificed much during these uncertain times to continue the extraordinary 182-year-old legacy of our Judson College. We remain thankful to our dedicated Board of Trustees for their long hours of continued service and dedication to Judson. Judson community, thank you for your patience, prayers, and sacrifice during these difficult moments of uncertainty and waiting. We remain appreciative to you for your continued support.
